New Vlog: My last month in Hong Kong

I’ve moved back to the UK for several weeks now. While I’m settling down, here’s to looking back at my last moments in Hong Kong. ❤️

New Video: Pet Immigration Journey

We made it to the UK! I made two videos (in Cantonese) to help anyone that is looking into immigrating to the UK from Hong Kong with their pets. I hope that these videos will help fellow pet parents with their move too.

Right now, with the mass exodus of people leaving HK, pet immigration is a pain with pet direct flight tickets sky rocketed and the demand of availability way higher than supply. This is why many people, including myself, have chosen to bring their pets to the UK via a less direct route.

I flew out with Swiss Air, transiting via Zurich to Amsterdam with one cat in-cabin, and the other in-hold as excess baggage. Then arranged a pet taxi pick-up from the airport, taking me directly through the EuroTunnel back to my home in Greater London. The whole journey took 24 hours in total.

It was a long, tiring journey for myself and my two cats, but I’m glad we’ve made it!

New Vlog: A day in Tai O

Tai O is one of my favourite spots in Hong Kong. A quaint fishing village located in Lantau Island, it takes about an hour bus ride from Tung Chung. If possible, it’s best to avoid weekends as it can get extremely packed. Not only is Tai O a fishing village, it's also an island of cats. Perfect for cat lovers!

New Vlog: First look at the revitalised Central Market

New vlog! After four years of renovation, the Central Market has completed its transformation works. Central Market was a fresh food market in Central, Hong Kong. Located between Queen's Road Central and Des Voeux Road Central, it was the first wet market in Hong Kong. The rebooted historic building now offers various food stalls and gift stores from local independent brands.

Vlog Post: A Day in Tung Chung

New video is up! First time exploring the more residential areas of Tung Chung over the weekend.

The revamped local Yat Tung Market is quite cool. The market was revamped to reminisce Kowloon Walled City back in the days with a flying plane decoration set up overhead. We also finished off the day by walking through the village to the harbour.
